PERSONAL STATEMENT

I am an innovative creator, passionate about inventing new ways of life and exploring the deeper meaning behind the objects we use every day. Each of my creations, whether it be a painting or an object, has a story and a dynasty to follow. I prioritize quality and longevity, and I am always in search of equity in everything I see or touch. I don’t follow trends or rules, instead, I strive to create objects that remind us of a wider purpose than our own. Sometimes, my creations are purely for inspiration, culture, or oneness.

As an artist and a leader of my own destiny, I believe that it is important to include a strong message in my artwork. I get inspired by what is around me and include my own vision. I believe as long as my art oeuvre has a purpose, then it has a reason to be.

My art is my voice, as a journalist or a news reporter, I feel an obligation to match the time I live in to testify on a social or demographic phenomenon and demonstrate how I view it. So my art needs to be in tune with my own opinion and the way I would rather for it to be. Change is always depicted in my artwork as a confession to the world, an act of truth and transparency. As if my soul is my master.

As a victim of war and discrimination, as a single parent of two, and as a mother who had to fight for the betterment of myself and for the future of my children, I have always known that I didn’t belong where society placed me.

I am grateful for the gift of love. I am reminded of the words of philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, who wrote that “one must still have chaos within oneself to give birth to a dancing star.” I had to learn first the importance of embracing chaos and uncertainty in order to discover my true self and purpose. Many philosophers, including Jean-Jacques Rousseau, have argued that love is essential to our personal growth and happiness. Love provides us with a sense of belonging, purpose, and emotional fulfillment. It helps us form meaningful connections with others and can provide us with a sense of security and stability.

However, finding true love can be a challenging and complex process. It requires self-awareness, patience, and a willingness to be vulnerable. We must also be mindful of who we choose to associate ourselves with, as the wrong partner can hinder our personal growth and lead to heartache and disappointment.

I strive to inspire others to live their truth, fight for their rights, and always choose the path of righteousness.

Ultimately, love is a journey that requires effort and commitment, but the rewards can be profound. It can enrich our lives, deepen our understanding of ourselves and others, and bring us a sense of meaning and purpose.

The great philosopher Søren Kierkegaard once said, “Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.” This statement reminds me of the value of reflection and how looking back on our experiences can help us gain a better understanding of ourselves and the world around us.

Throughout my life, I have learned many hard lessons, and I have always prioritized righteousness above all else. As I look toward the next 50 years of my life, I believe that the truth about who I am and what I stand for will soon come to light. I strongly believe that art has the power to effect positive change, and I am determined to use my artistic talents to create a better world for both myself and those around me.

So I created the BAZ CONCEPT with this ideology where “The Gift of Life is Generated Through The Light Within”.

Furthermore, I have been greatly influenced by the ideas of philosopher Michel Foucault, who believed in the power of knowledge and the importance of understanding societal constructs in order to challenge and change them. With the guidance of my angel guides, I have been able to gain a deeper understanding of the societal constructs that shape our world, including culture, ethnicity, and identity. By analyzing and dissecting these constructs, I am better able to comprehend my place in the world and make informed decisions about my future.

In addition, I have also been inspired by the teachings of philosopher Søren Kierkegaard, who emphasized the importance of living in the present moment and following one’s intuition.

Overall, the combination of these philosophical ideas, along with the guidance of my angel guides, has allowed me to see the world more clearly and confidently move forward in the direction that is truly mine. These influences have helped me to embrace my inner light and use it to make a positive impact in the world.

The wise words of philosopher Khalil Gibran come to mind, who once said, “Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens.” It is through this lens that I approach my art and my life, choosing to focus on the beauty and potential that exists within each moment.

Through my experiences, I have come to understand the importance of living in the present moment and connecting with our inner selves. As we let go of our thoughts and become more conscious of the present, we can experience life in its truest form, where everything is joyful and vibrant.

This is why I regularly practice meditation, as it allows me to align and ground myself, and tap into the limitless potential that resides within us all.

As an artist, I believe that my purpose is to inspire others to connect with their inner selves, listen to their intuition, and live in the present moment. By doing so, we can unlock our true potential and create a better world for ourselves and those around us.

Just as Gibran reminds us, our living is determined not by what life brings to us, but by the attitude we bring to life. So let us choose to approach life with a positive attitude, grounded in the present moment, and create a more beautiful world for all.

So I created the Project Silhouettes: “A Painted Opera in Six Acts”

In the world of art, the concept of beauty has always been a subject of philosophical discourse. Sigmund Freud, the father of psychoanalysis, once said, “Beauty has no obvious use; nor is there any clear cultural necessity for it. Yet civilization could not do without it.” This statement highlights the idea that beauty, although seemingly superfluous, holds immense value in our lives.

I believe that true beauty stems from within, and it is the soul that holds the key to unlocking it. It is in our existence that we find the beauty within ourselves, and it is through our experiences that we are able to express it. For me, painting from the inside out means tapping into the inner beauty and authenticity of my subjects. It means recognizing and depicting the unique qualities that make us human and showcasing them in a way that inspires and uplifts us. Through my art, I hope to encourage others to tap into their own inner beauty and create a better world for themselves and those around them.

I am not interested in simply painting a beautiful image but rather in depicting the essence of inner beauty that resides within each and every one of us. It is through the use of abstraction and form that I am able to tap into the spiritual mind and bring forth the beauty that lies within.

As a painter, I carefully select the colors and the brushstroke pattern to illustrate behavior or a thought process. My subjects and techniques are purposely fashioned to capture the essence of inner beauty.

The internet has been a key tool in widening my horizons and evolving my thought process as information flows and knowledge follows.

ENTANGLEMENT

As an immigrant, I’ve come to realize that personal growth and understanding different perspectives are essential to fully embrace a new culture. While it may be comforting to interact solely within one’s own cultural community while pursuing a better life in a more advanced country, doing so may hinder personal growth and limit one’s ability to understand those who are different. I learned that speaking the language alone is not enough to fully embrace a new culture. I had to step out of my comfort zone and explore beyond the confines of my origin and community to seek my own freedom and understanding of the true meaning of life.

Though I cherished the friendships I made with individuals from my Lebanese community in Paris and NYC, over time, I found myself distancing from most of them and only maintaining relationships with those who were most important to me. This is a natural progression of life, as we all evolve and change over time.

Going through the drastic change in culture while seeking more important achievements as an artist taught me how to optimize my skills and break through boundaries, bringing me closer to what I was searching for in life. This experience helped me expand my perspective and approach to art, incorporating elements from both my origin and new culture to create something unique and meaningful. Through embracing the challenges of navigating a new culture, I was able to tap into new sources of inspiration and creativity, allowing me to grow and develop as an artist.

Overall, this journey has shown me that stepping outside of my comfort zone and embracing new experiences can be a powerful catalyst for personal and professional growth. It may be difficult at times, but breaking through boundaries and exploring beyond one’s origin and community can lead to a richer, more fulfilling life.

As Sigmund Freud once said, “Most people do not really want freedom, because freedom involves responsibility, and most people are frightened of responsibility.” However, I believe that true freedom lies in taking responsibility for our own lives and actions. By tapping into our inner strength and living with authenticity, we can create a better world for ourselves and those around us.

In Shakespeare’s famous “to be or not to be” soliloquy, the protagonist grapples with the idea of taking action or succumbing to the difficulties of life. I believe that we should always choose to be, to take action and rise above our challenges. It is through our struggles that we can learn and grow, and ultimately create a more beautiful world.

As I embark on the next chapter of my life, I feel compelled to express my deep gratitude to all of my past friends and acquaintances. Thank you for being a part of the incredible moments of my life and for playing a significant role in shaping who I am today. Your support, encouragement, and even the challenges you brought into my life were all instrumental in pushing me toward where I truly belong.

To those who have always stood by my side and continue to be a part of my journey, I am eternally grateful. Your unwavering presence and support have been a constant source of strength and inspiration to me, and I cannot imagine where I would be without you. Thank you for being a part of my life, both past and present. I look forward to continuing to share in life’s journey with you.

I am deeply grateful for my guardian angels, my daughter, my mother, my son, my Cheri d’Amour Adore, and my cousin Tala, who was the first to welcome me into the game of life. Through their love and support, I have discovered the true essence of myself and have connected with my soul on a profound level. I am one with the universe, and I am a reflection of you, just as you are a reflection of me. I am the god of my journey, and I follow my inner truth and light without fear or hesitation. No one can stand in the way of my journey, for it is mine alone to claim. What belongs to me is mine, and I have the power to take it. I am driven, determined, and unstoppable, and nothing will stand in the way of me achieving my goals and fulfilling my purpose.

There is no one who can stand in the way of my journey because it is mine.

AM=OUR painting

Through my art, I aspire to bring attention to those who are often overlooked – the voiceless and marginalized. My goal is to use my art as a tool for liberation, to free the beauty and essence that lies within each of us. I believe that by creating art that engages all of our senses, we can unlock emotions and thoughts that may have remained dormant or buried deep within us.

Life is a constant balancing act, much like the movements of martial arts. By simultaneously pushing and pulling with equal force, we can find harmony and balance within ourselves. This balance allows us to connect with our souls and move forward on our journey with clarity and purpose. I have experienced my own spiritual awakening and I invite you to join me on this path of self-discovery and exploration. Let us discover the beauty of our souls together and create a better world through our art.
