Description
The Artwork
Within the venerable walls of an ancient castle, a boudoir photography session unfolded, marking the inception of “Corpus Femina XX.” The model, a Russian former ballet dancer, captivated the lens with her ethereal curls and profoundly expressive eyes. Drawing inspiration from a tome dedicated to the artistry of Rembrandt van Rijn, I aspired to reinterpret his masterpiece “Seated Nude Woman” with a contemporary lens, imbuing it with the youth and grace that my muse exuded.
The journey of creation led to an innovative application of digital technology. By using double projection, I merged the photograph with another image: a textured canvas meticulously treated to enhance its character. This dual-layered approach not only enriched the visual complexity of the piece but also served as a medium to convey a deeper narrative.
The artwork will be shipped in a sealed cardboard box and covered with bubble plastic film. The certificate, which accompanies the artwork, is also in the sealed box.
